Lightweavers is a Fine Art Photography business founded, owned, operated and
based in the Baltimore/Washington DC area.
Together, we utilize our diverse talents and skills to create works of photographic impact and art in a variety
of genres, including nature, landscapes, architecture, portraiture, special event, industrial, and commercial
photography. We use digital SLR's, large format film, and medium format film cameras for image capture.
Our fine art photographs are available for sale on our website, and we also enjoy doing commissioned work for
special events, portraits, and commercial/industrial purposes. Any photographic endeavor
challenges and rewards us, and we hope that you will choose us for your photographic needs.
Photography is one of our main passions in life, and it seems that too many photographic subjects and
genres intrigue us! Whether we're taking pictures at the rim of the Grand Canyon or striving to resolve
five thousand lenses in a dragonfly's eye, we feel energized
while composing, recording, and processing images. We strive to impart emotion to our pictures, whether it’s
the adrenaline issuing from a fire-breathing heavy industrial landscape, the limestone majesty of a gothic cathedral,
the haunted atmosphere of an abandoned factory, a quiet rainforest, or a child's curiosity contemplating a flower.
We challenge ourselves to not only record images but to find and explore some intriguing essence of color,
light, geometry, and emotion.
